Walk a mile in my underpants.

The sky is falling. Seriously.

I was about to sit down on my hammock on the roof deck yesterday. But something caught my eye.

“Is that what I think it is?”

I walked over to the railing and looked down at my neighbor’s roof. And there it was. Plain as day.

A ski.

On their roof.

It’s white with gray foot brackets and a red stripe.

And it’s on their roof.

This blew my mind.

Because... how the hell did it get there?

I looked up at the sky. For what, I don’t know.

A skier, maybe?

Do skis ever just fall out of airplanes?

Shit, that’s scary.

Okay, what about an eagle or something. Are they big enough to pick up a ski? Like to build a giant nest out of?

That’s kinda scary too, actually.

And what happened to the other ski?

Is it still falling?

I guess I’ll never know. But one thing’s for sure.

I’m wearing a helmet from now on.
