Some people view the world through rose-colored glasses.
I prefer the ones with slinky eyeballs.

I sleep on the left side of the bed. I drive with the windows down and the music up (even when it's too hot). I read the paper at the coffee shop before work every morning. It makes my coffee taste better. I prefer Crest to Colgate, although I'm not really sure why. I tie my shoes short-bus style with the two loops instead of the around-the-tree method. I'd rather have french fries than chocolate. I love everything about the summer, including the humidity. I've read more cookbooks than novels. Granted, the plot is usually more predictable (Cook food. Eat food. Spill food on pants.) but it tastes a helluva lot better than the stuff in Harry Potter (which, as it turns out, has nothing to do with pots). I love the Orioles. But only when they win. When they lose, I forever renounce my loyalties to the team, the city of Baltimore and the game of baseball. Until the next night, when I somehow find it in my heart to forgive them. I love Kayaking and try to get out on the harbor once or twice a week. It's great exercise and I find that it gives my skin a radiant glow. (Especially in the dark.) I love coffee shops, photography, interior design (my job in my next life) and shopping.

I remember walking through that place months before we moved in. Steve asked if I thought it would be inspiring to creative people to work in a facility like this. I told him what inspires creatives are clients who want to do great work, disciplined and insightful briefs, reasonable budgets, and comfortable time frames. Frankly, the place depressed me.
Just seeing the pictures reminds me of this museum to a man and a woman's ego. -- Bill

The bathrooms of Eisner were world-class.

Evocative and oddly affecting collection of photographs. It suggests a modern Bawlmer ghost story, rife with melancholia and hollow promises. There is a great Shakespearean tale about Eisner's hubris and fall that will never be written, alas.

Wow...you said 1,000 words without saying a word. Very touching...

Very touching. No matter what Eisner will always hold a place in my heart. It is where I grew up. I little piece of all of us died on November 10.

Mik, I owned you on that pool table.
It's weird now to see the height chart. An outsider would think it's evidence of a fun work environment.
Really though, it was just acting out from boredom and anxiety.
Thanks for posting the pics, Brian.
